Jonathan Reyes
Jonathan Reyes is a Vice President with the firm. He is a public servant at heart with over 10 years of experience in state and local policy, budget and legislative government affairs practices.
Most recently, Jonathan served as the Regional Director of State Government Affairs for a national nonprofit and gun violence prevention organization, Everytown For Gun Safety. As Regional Director in the South, Jonathan fearlessly represented Everytown and the gun violence prevention movement across 11 states including the FL, TN and TX.
Before joining Everytown, he served former New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, as a Legislative Representative for the Office of State Legislative Affairs where he was responsible for managing the state agendas of over 10 city agencies such as the Office Management and Budget (OMB), Labor Relations (OLR) and Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (OMWBE) among many others. Prior to rejoining the administration in this capacity, Jonathan worked for the Hamilton Campaign Network (HCN) as Assistant Vice President of Campaigns, a political consulting firm that played a role in electing many of New York’s federal, state and city-wide elected officials currently in office. Jonathan’s public service experience began in 2012 as Legislative Assistant to the NYC Council Black, Latino and Asian Caucus (BLAC) and later the Hon. Ydanis Rodriguez.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Syracuse University in 2014, Jonathan accepted an offer to serve as a budget analyst on the Education Taskforce of the NYC Office of Management and Budget.
